Meet the Team

Ben founded Aevum Accounting on the belief that good tax advice and genuine client relationships go hand in hand. He works with individuals and businesses across Australia, with a deep specialisation in paramedics and frontline health workers, and brings the same integrity-first approach to every client regardless of their situation. 

He is also invested in what comes next, both for his clients and for the profession. Ben supports the West Coast Eagles, which has required a level of patience that serves him well in tax season.

Maddy is the engine of the client experience at Aevum. She prepares returns, handles amendments, and makes sure every client moves from onboarding to lodgement without a hitch. Her background spans childcare, coffee roasting, and professional services, and across all of it, she has developed a sharp eye for how things can work better.

She also holds a Fine Arts degree, was vegan for over a decade, and is currently listening to Tracy Chapman’s self-titled album on repeat.

Elwira works across individual, company, and trust tax returns, bookkeeping, and is expanding her expertise into managed super funds. She holds a Master of Accounting and has built her experience across several firms before joining Aevum. Precise and thorough, she takes getting the details right as a given.

Originally from Poland and now firmly settled in Perth, Elwira is usually found with family and friends, ideally somewhere near good food. She also

cannot wink her left eye, which comes up more than you’d expect.

Troy specialises in tax law, payroll, and capital gains tax, with a strong track

record of finding the details other people miss. Mentored early in his career by Ben De Rosa, he was handed challenging work from the start, which shaped his instinct for digging deeper than the obvious answer.

Having worked alongside Ben since 2020, Troy chose to join Aevum because he shares the firm’s vision for proactive, relationship-first accounting. He was also a part of breaking a Guinness World Record, though he’s not one to lead with that.
